The girls I drew for the boys at Cocunut Hair Salon

Two lovely male pals of mine, who know a thing or two about hair, have started up their own hair salon called Coconut very recently. They wanted some original and fresh imagery to promote the salon and their personal style aesthetic without using the usual medium of Photography.

I was excited and daunted at the prospect of getting it 'right', as this would be my first commissioned job!! They gave me complete control and I came up with these 6 simple A3 pencil illustrations.
I was really happy with 4 of them and think they convey a range of fresh young hairstyles which is what the boys wanted so it all turned out OK for my first little job!
